Colab Construct is proud to be delivering the extension to the Zhu Badminton Centre, a premier badminton and sports facility in Wigram, Canterbury. The project will add six new courts built to international badminton standards, significantly increasing the Centre’s capacity and enabling it to host a wider range of regional, national, and international tournaments.

Construction is well underway, with the steel piling package now completed on a challenging site. Working within an existing operational facility and navigating the complexities of the site has required careful planning, coordination, and a practical approach to construction from the outset.

Colab is working closely with the client, design team, and project stakeholders to manage the challenges of the build while maintaining the vision and requirements of the completed facility. Our team is bringing a hands-on approach to project management, construction coordination, and problem-solving to ensure the project progresses efficiently and delivers a high-quality outcome.
